Hi everyone, my name is Vanessa Olsen.
I’m a fourth-generation farmer who has a passion for photography and capturing memories.
I am a mother of one son named Jackson and I am full of energy and have a super bubbly personality as some have told me.
My passion for photography started at a young age my mom had a huge bookcase filled with photo albums and I would sit there and just look through them constantly, till the day I moved out.
A picture is worth a thousand words, it’s timeless you can keep going back to that picture and get that same amazing feeling from looking at a picture.
As my son is going to be 2, I keep looking back at his newborn pictures as he has grown up so much since.
I can’t-go back and relive those moments, but I sure can go back to the photos and get a feel for what it was like holding my newborn.
I can’t wait to meet you all on our photo shoots. 🙂
I am a lifestyle photographer
I became drawn to the Lifestyle approach for photography and fell in love with it. Becoming a photographer, I also found a piece of me that has been hiding for 30 years, my artistic side has finally shown through my images I capture.
I am obsessed with capturing families babies and couples. In a way that is real, romantic, and full of life To me your not just a client you are someone who believes in my work and me, and I cherish that and you.
I think the world has big plans for Farmer Behind The Lens and I'm so thankful you are here.
